"My brother-in-law/next door neighbor/guy at the gym/newsperson said that the housing market is going to...!

Sound familiar?  Everyone seems to know what's going to happen in the Real Estate market. And if you happen to be in the market, or are thinking about selling, they’re all going to tell you exactly what you should do!

“You know, If I was you blah blah blah…!”  Uhm, thanks Uncle Jim, I’ll keep that in mind.

But the fact of the matter is that no one really knows what’s going to happen. Even the experts, the folks who get paid to figure this stuff out, get it right only every once in a while. What is your personal situation, your own “economy”?  Do you have stable income and savings?  Do you need to be near a certain job, or school district? Did you find your absolute dream house? Do you have to move because you’re being transferred? These are the things you should be thinking about. The bottom line is, if you have a “WHY”, then you should talk to a Realtor (not your cousin’s uncle’s best friend) to discuss the “HOW”...
